Custom library ladders and hardware
Our handmade library ladders and hardware can turn your space into something fun and extraordinary. We custom make each one for a specific project. We are then only able to work locally with ladder projects.
MADE IN CANADA
The hardware can be HOOK or ROLLING. The track we make is a flat track, similar to our barn door hardware tracks.
With a HOOK hardware, you can unhook the ladder and move it to another location. However, you cannot slide a hook ladder, and it cannot be tucked in when not in use.
With a ROLLING hardware, you cannot remove the ladder, it rolls (slides) along one wall. With a rolling ladder, you can tuck it in when not in use.

The finishes can be in raw steel, matte black, and brass.
The ladder is hand made out of solid wood such as walnut, white oak, maple or red oak. The red oak can be stained to colour of your choice and finished with a polyurethane. The walnut and white oak is finished with a rub-on oil. If you required the ladder to be painted, we would make it out of maple. Please inquire if you would like the ladder made out of different wood. We can also make the ladder out of metal as the examples below.
